Business Growth Programs

As we have mentioned previously, the focus of ACC is YOUR business growth.

Two programs that are specifically designed to achieved the desired growth in your business are the Business Growth Accelerator Program and the Business Positioning Program.

It depends on the current development stage of your business as to the program most appropriate for you.

For well established businesses with exponential growth aspirations the Business Growth Accelarator Program would normally be most appropraite. For smaller and less established businesses the Business Positioning Program provides a stable foundation for future growth.


The Business Growth Accelerator Program

The core service offering of ACC to all businesses is our Business Growth Accelerator Program. This program is most suitable for those businesses which are well established and exponential growth aspirations. The key components of this package are:

Representation on your Board of Advice – All businesses that have exponential growth aspirations should have an advisory board – a group comprising the key leaders of the business and at least one external representative. We recommend that Advisory Board meetings be scheduled six times per year, with each meeting lasting from 2 to 3 hours. We will personally participate on your Board of Advice scheduled at mutually practical times.

Strategic Consulting Appointments – We will personally consult to your business for the equivalent of six half days per year. These consulting appointments may include facilitating strategic planning sessions, quarterly strategic review sessions or specific subject matter workshops on topics such as Pricing Structure, Marketing, Service Offering re-design or Client Experience upgrade.

Telephone access – being able to phone someone to discuss issues important to you helps share the challenges of business ownership. You will have the opportunity of scheduling up to 12 one hour phone appointments per year – and of course be able to call at non scheduled times to discuss those issues which require urgent attention.

Access to tools and templates – business building tools, templates and reference materials will be available to ACC clients.  It is planned to have these available from a secure client section of our website in late 2009.

Reduced Consulting Rates – if you require additional consulting project work to be completed, reduced rates by up to 50% of normal casual consulting rates will be available to ACC Advice and Consulting Package clients.

 

Business Positioning Program


Our offerring better suited to smaller and less established businesses is the Business Positioning Program. Businesses which want to eventually transition to a Dominator Model, need to position themselves for this exponential growth. At the conclusion of this program, for which the optimum delivery time-frame is six months, businesses have clarified the vision and have their business growth, people marketing and operational plans in place. The next step for these businesses would be to establish an advisory board and commit to the Advice and Consulting Package.

The components of the Business Positioning Package are:

Strategy Development Appointments – A series of six half day (3 – 4 hours each) face to face strategy development sessions. In these sessions you will:

Create the Vision: Understanding the detail of the business YOU want to have in three to five years time will provide the anchor for all the work we complete together;

  • Establish the Plan: From the vision we identify the priorities to achieve in the first twelve months and develop a plan to accomplish these priorities
  • Build the Team: The key driver of achieving the vision is the right team of people in the business. Our support includes identifying the priority positions to be filled, the skills required for each position and designing an Organisational Structure Transition Plan
  • Design the Process: The business operating process needs to create efficiency and release the principal to focus on revenue generating activity
  • Attract the Clients: Future growth will only come by attracting new clients. This support will include identifying the appropriate markets, designing the offer to attract those markets and creating alliances with other professionals to enable delivery of the offer.
  • Review the Progress: A dedicated assessment of progress and a documented report on the priorities for the next six to twelve month period will conclude the Business Positioning Program
